Choosing your language
The Numwisely interface is available in English, German (Deutsch), and Finnish (Suomi). To change it, open Settings from the sidebar and pick a language under Preferences → Language.
The change applies instantly — every page, menu, button, and message switches as soon as you click. There is no save button and no page reload needed.
The setting follows your account
Your language choice is saved to your account, not just to the current browser. When you sign in on another device or browser, the app opens in the language you picked. Before your first visit while signed in, the app falls back to your browser's language preference, or English if none of the three languages match.
Invoice documents keep their own language
The interface language does not change the language of invoice PDFs or invoice emails. A legal document's language follows the recipient, not the person operating the app, so you can run the app in your own language while sending invoices in your client's language.
Set the document language per invoice when creating it, or set the default in Invoice Settings. See "Supported languages" in the Invoice lifecycle article for details.
What is and is not translated
All app text — navigation, forms, tables, dialogs, and this documentation — follows the interface language. Your own data is never translated: merchant names, transaction descriptions, client names, and notes stay exactly as they were extracted or entered.
